Kat’s love for antiques and working with her hands led to years as a greenhouse manager for a large commercial landscaping company. On weekends, she frequented auctions, occasionally picking up antique furniture. When painted furniture became popular, she began restoring and painting pieces, finding the process both relaxing and rewarding. As her skills grew, she learned to mix stains to match finishes from photos—opening the door to custom work. That passion helped spark the creation of KandD Creations.
